Dave, Thanks for your reply. To be very specific, I'm animating a horse pulling a wagon. I'd like to build the horse and wagon as separate sprites and then lock them together when necessary (this way I can use the horse without the wagon at times) This is probably way more specific than you meant, but if you could give me your thoughts, it will probably result in a better end product and even save some time.
