I've run across another problem in AS that I hope you can help me work out. I've got an .AVI file that I created with another package (Renderize) and I wanted to overlay a logo image onto the first frame of the animation. (I was later going to replicate the first frame so it'll be a "still" before the animation starts). Anyway I do these procedures. Load the AVI file. Load the bitmap image. Use the "Magic Wand" and "invert selection" to select the logo (I did a blue background). Copy the logo to the clipboard. Go to the AVI in frame mode and paste the logo. Render the frame. Everything's hunky at this point. I then try to SAVEAS and I get the following error dialogs: Request for feature that is unsupported -OK- and then: APPLICATION ERROR Abnormal program termination -Close- I'm then rudely returned to Progman. Any ideas? I tried making my logo differnet bitmap file types (.BMP, TGA) and different color depths (8 bit to 32 bit) with and without compression. They all have the same effect. I even tried to do this with one of the tutorial AVI files. Same thing. What gives?
