#New guy & Pro?
<hi Ed! (nice write up on fonts in PStudio lately, by the way. lots of kewl
tricks in there)>
Thanks! I've been picking up tricks from your articles also!
I particularly enjoyed your last article on Animator Studio.
Talking about Animator Studio … remember the discussion we
had about how AniPro handled cels? I mentioned that
AniPro did not necessarily load all the data when loading a
cel file, and that you shouldn't delete a cel file because it was already
"loaded" (and you needed more disk space).
I noticed they didn't take any chance with Animator Studio. They make sure a
file containing the data for a "cel" exists. You can't just create an animation
and use it for cloning, or as a sprite. You have to place it in a file first!
You might have noticed I've been gone for a few weeks (I wasn't just being less
talkative than usual <g>). During that time I managed to destroy a hard disk.
Among other things, it contained several animations I was going to upload. To
recover whatever data is still usable on the disk (1260 meg) would cost about
$1000. I don't think I'm going to do.
I also lost some of my WinCIM files with the disk. If anyone has recently sent
me mail, and it hasn't been answered, please send it again.
To prove that I'm still my talkative self I'll add that nowadays
I mostly play with babies, Animator Studio, AutoCAD, AniPro and Particle System
IPASes, (almost in that order).
