As others have pointed out, Optimize is a good option. There is a demo version
in the Libs that may help you decide if it's the kind of thing you're looking
for. Alternately, there is TSE which would allow you to code your own utility.
Finally, you could either contract the creation of a utility, or contract the
process of cleaning the meshes.
