Agreed. But there is something to be said for being able to do even simple
3D DVE moves in real time in a non-linear editor. Granted, it doesn't even
come close to the Video Toaster in terms of flexibility of transitions, but
then again the Toaster isn't designed to be a dedicated NLE (though with some
add-ons it can perform acceptably in that calling).
