Hi Anne… Thanks for the message… It seems that my areas of interest tend not to be the same as the majority on here… Being new to the animation business I was just looking for something to compare quality-wise with my own work… (Whilst my computing skills are pretty strong my artistic interests have always been hobbies -I'm into glazing with oils if anyone's interested) The first thing I learnt about the animation side of things – even though I'm interested in mainly industrial subjects- is how much artistic creativity is required to get a really good looking frame. My respect for people like Riddley Scott and some of the guys on here has gone through the roof since learning about – and using 3DS. Painting with light is great fun but it's also damned hard work! Thanks for the download suggestions, I'll check them out as on-line time budgeting allows. -john- DAS.
