Hi Alec, Actually, protected Director movies are loaded from CDs all the time… if not, there'd be a heckuva lot less CDs being made! <g> But the .DXR format is a destination format — a final format, not an interim format that's converted into other things. It has too much logic and timing information to be decomposed into a simple animation stream. Best bet would still be to contact the original author of that file or, assuming you have permission, to do an animated screen capture. (Hmm, one final thought — your initial post sorta gives the impression that the content of this piece may be a screen capture in itself.
