Jim, addition to your file BUGS.200…
Working with Sysop Larry to develop a 200 version of his program DIARY.400.
When the program is run, if there is no NOTE.DO file in RAM, the program
creates it. Well, let me tell you….!
The first time I ran DIARY, it created NOTE.DO all right, but somehow it
transferred all the stuff in my ADRS.DO file into NOTE.DO, and left me an empty
ADRS.DO file.
What I suspect happened, is that the program searched the directory for a 0 T&S
byte, and stuffed NOTE.DO in the slot, rather than creating the file the normal
way. Then somehow, a previous slot where an old copy of ADRS was located, was
reactivated…. Just guessing you understand. But it's significantly wierd!
Larry does search the directory to find out if a CO program is resident.
