I don't have dBMAN, so can't comment on it's specifics, but I do _a lot_ of
dBASE III programming and don't use their editor at all so that isn't a big
deal to me.
However, I'm curious…this is a multi-tasking machine we have here, is
there a particular reason why you can't have both your editor and dBMAN
available at the same time? Just switch screens rather than load and
re-load etc the 2 programs. With the multi-tasking, all you would have to
do is load and save source with the editor and switch screens to dBMAN and
DO <program>…if you locate an error, switch screens again, load source
fix and keep going. don
