You crazy dog! You've been using the 24 bit display this whole
time! Thats your reason! There is no way around the slowdown since
it has to do w/ the board's limitations and the pixel adjustment. It
was explained to me that alot f the RTG-wanna-be's are superVGA chips
that don't operate in the same way in 24bit as they do in 8 bit. As
far as the mouse, on the EGS they use software as opposed to hardware
to speed up the refresh. Thats why the mouse flickers on an EGS
board at 24 bit.
Switch to 8bit already! ;D
