No, I haven't yet. You aren't harping, and I wouldn't be depressed. ANY
advance is an advance, and the fact that it didn't occur in my computer
first is only a minor inconvenience. After all, those Yamaha and Ensoniq
chip sets are just that… chip sets. Anything they can build in the box
we could hang on the buss… if someone wants to badly enough. Me,
personally, I want something better than Mirage quality, though I will
agree with you that, at the current state of the art, Mirage sound quality
exceeds Amiga sound quality. If price and availablility were the same, and
assuming high quality audio were your goal, which would YOU rather have…
the IIGS with Mirage sound quality, or the new Hybrid Arts digitizer?
I see wonderful things on the horizon. They're a little blurry now, but
let's hope they'll come into view soon.
