Addressing your comments by number: 1. I've had an A500 for about 2.5 months now and have had no QC complaints. I'm just one owner, but, I wouldn't expect any better QC on the A2000, after all, it is still being built by the same company to the same QC standards. Keep in mind that C-A doesn't like to fix defective machines any more than a customer likes to get one! 2. I've found 1M to be acceptable for what I do, but I certainly wouldn't recommend any less. It would be nice, but not essential in my usage, to have more memory available for RAM disk. A second 3.5" floppy drive is essential, though, unless you like swapping disks for what seems like an eternity! 3. (guess what, your third question just scrolled off the screen – guess I'll let somebody else handle that one!) David
