Patrick: Yes it can be done but requires a video recorder that it capable of single frame stepping and probably a rather sophisticated video timing unit. There are others on this forum that can be more specific (like get the price of such a unit to within an order of magnitude). My guess is that you would be talking about >$10K for the recorder. Ageis has done some stuff by creating several seconds worth of video at a time and then recording the stuff. Create several more seconds and record again. Several seconds can mean around 15 seconds or so in a 2.5 Meg machine. I believe that an HD can extend that time quite a bit if the animation is not too complex. 73, bill
