Yes, I thought about that too, but I couldn't off-hand think of any reason why
the inertia (which is to say the mass) of the pole would matter – it's made of
something that is extraordinarily rigid, but not very dense. As opposed to
substances that are both very rigid _and_ very dense, such as ronaldreaganite.
