Lynn: the "addressing" restriction has to do with the fact that the A1000 amiga box was defined to use only the lower half of the memory space, mostly. That caused some people (Obviously trained at Intel and in the employ of IBM) to use the upper bits of the address register for flag bits. <Gack>. When CSA's (for instance) '020 box was added, with it's 32 bit pc and it's 32 bit ram in a "new" location that used those bits showed up, said programs took a defacation. There is a warning against it in some of the 1.2 dox, and that's what he was refferring to. OR should be. –Ben–
