Dear Mr./Ms. Syndesis; Well, actually, I believe VideoTitler's references to df0: would have to be called soft-coded. VideoTitler gathers its path to look for things, as well as various other default settings, from a file in the devs directory which is called ".titler" . That file is a pure ASCII file which can be read and modified with ED. I have changed all the df0:'s and df1:'s to dh1: so that my system is quite happy running Videotitler from the hard disk alone without the appearance of any requestors asking me to please insert disk so-and-so. Since my defaults are set just the way I want them I would not need to modify the program. My problem is with the Icon for Videotitler (the "Videotitler.info" file). I seem to be unable to get the program to run properly by clicking on the icon. The program starts running normally, but just seems to hang after loading the font tables. If on the other hand, I open a CLI and type two commands ("CD DH1:Videotitler" and "Titler"), everything runs absolutely perfectly. My problem is in trying to figure out how to get the program to run correctly from the icon. I don't know enough about Icons to know what they do, or what I should do to make them work.
