Dick Hanna, I received Gold Disk's .metric fonts disk a few weeks ago and subsequently purchased Calligrapher to "create" bit mapped fonts to match the "typeface" and sizes. It's relatively easy to convert similar type fonts to match the required typeface and sizes; but, it ta kes time! IF!!! there is an easier way, I'd like to know about it…and all of those other Professional Page purchasers. You'd think Gold Disk would create entire type (bit mapped) library fonts to match "their" .metric fonts. If not, it seems that Adobe would sell at lot of these fonts and .metrics if they produced Amiga formatted disks!!! Let's face it, DTP is a MAC World and we Amiga owners are behind the th e times…it makes me think I bought the wrong computer? As for —your— output(printing), do you send your disk info through a modem or convert it to IBM, then to MAC format??? I'd be interest ed in knowing, any local "houses" here in Daytona Beach are operating in a MAC World and they ***don't*** like fooling with modem time or c onverting disks!!! Thanks for your answer Dick… JIM (a frustrated Amiga DTP owner)
