PostScript Problem
I hope I can find a big PostScript guru. Is it possible to read the bitmap
into which pages are rendered? I know the actual page bitmap is purposefully
hidden from the programmer, but the existence of products like LaserTalk on the
Mac seem to indicate there is a way to read the actual bitmap. This product
"previews" a PostScript file on the Mac screen by sending it to the printer to
be rendered, then sending it back to the computer – unless my source is wrong
about the way it works. The only other explanation is that it is a complete
PostScript interpreter, and I don't think that is likely.
