I ->KNEW<- there was something we could agree on! <g> I'm amazed at the OS/2 Warp commercials where people are gawking at a computer doing three things at once as if it were something new. I'm also stunned at IBM/clone people that shunned a graphic user interface, saying it was kiddy-game stuff for people too dumb to use a "real" computer, until Windows arrived. Hey, it hasn't been invented unless it was invented by MicroSoft, right? I certainly remember 20 meg hard drives and 512K OS's, but isn't the size of Windows NT a little out of control for the average home computer buyer? Granted, for businesses I'm sure W_NT is fine but an operating system that needs 12 plus megs is overkill for home use. Another indicator of an OS out of control is the ratio of program size to OS size. Granted W_NT can do more than other operating systems but is it THAT much more and is it worth the system requirements for the average user?
