Ah! Thanks for the pointer to Timeline, Larry, that is the best price I've
seen yet for the Adaptec 4000.
Another consideration has arisen: I am trying to decide whether to just add a
hard disk to my A1000 or shoot the works and go for a 2000 with hd.
I like the idea of internal expansion slots and a hefty power supply. I'd
rather have all the hd inside rather than outside the box.
