I'm sorry for any inconvenience to you or Aegis that this thread has
caused. However, with msgs like the following, from high profile people in
the Amiga world, it is not suprising that such a rumor should persist.

I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen, but the fact is that Aegis is dead. They
recently sold off several hundred product disks (just the disks) for $0.25
each. They were also seen selling their office furniture on the front
lawn. There are *rumors* (note: may not be accurate) that David Barrett
is attempting to abscond with Aegis's remaining assetts by selling them to
a new outfit he's created called "7 Day Software" at prices far below
market value. But the long and short of it is that Aegis is dead. It
really is a shame, since they had some nice products. Schwab
