thanks for the quick reply. we shall give it a try. i have just determined
that the mainframe image processor package (IHF) will accept postscript and
encapsulated PS. the tiff files that i've seen have been 100k on the ibm pc.
i'm thinking that since the postscript file can be bilevel that they may be
smaller than the TIFFs and thereby I would be spending less time doing the
upload from PC to mainframe. do you know if this is the case? thanks again.
