I set the directories with those commands, but it still isn't finding the mod or .rfm files anywhere but the current directory. I played around with it quite a while, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there some sort of checking of the .obm dates with the .mod dates that could keep if from finding the .mod files? (I had the "Check .mod dates" thing turned on at first, and tried turning it off, but that didn't seem to help either). Perhaps I'm entering the directories in the wrong format, or perhaps a / is needed on the end of each entry in the list? As for my project, one mode of operation works fine, the other is proving more difficult than I thought to get it to be reliable enough for a commercial product. In the mean time I'm working on another project that is coming along well. Thanks for the prompt reply. Perhaps you could give an example of the correct format of the entries in the directory search list. I didn't see one in the manual. Mike.
