Chris; <squeal!!> <chuckle> The '030 is doing just fine! Pagestream will print almost as fast (with 'normal' fonts) as WP does without the '030! We are talking a couple of seconds per page! OF course I still can't TRUST Pgs any further than I can THROW THIS BUILDING! Another neat feature of Pgs that I have discovered is that it will occassionally 'trim' your document by stripping out complete paragraphs from the middle of your document!! If it wern't so Damn buggy, it would almost be a pleasure to use with the '030. The flicker fixer really does not do anything to the display or its resolution. It is not a graphics enchancement card. What it does is buffer the amiga digital video output, a page at a time so that the same information can be output to a monitor running a 37KHz (35, 32?) horizontal scan rate. This is still a bit of a sore subject for me as I have spent another hundred buck on my Thompson and still don't have a monitor! Lets see….. yesterday I was running WP on four windows, PE on one, TxEd on one, NB on one, CAL on one, Whap!, plus the usual, PopCLI, Alarm, Snipit, MemWatch, and Rexxmaster. Quite impressive…. that combo would normally take the machine to its knees. =>73<=, bill =>KB7LX @ KC4EWO<=
