Richard – I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to respond, modem troubles… To
answer your question about memory for Adobe Illustrator 88, 750K of RAM must be
available to the finder to launch AI88 on a 1 meg. machine. If you have INITs
installed (items that start up when you first boot up your Mac) you might try
taking them out as they consume memory. The same goes for networking software.
Also, if you are using a large screen monitor we recommend 2 megs. Don't worry
about "Info" asking for 2 megs, that is the default set up for people running
under MultiFinder.
