Unfortunately, I lost the printer manual and wasn't able to check if it need to be a special cable. I will see if I can order one. I suspose it is expensive, huh? Perhaps you can confirm something. We have two Amigas here and I was thinking that I'd have one hooked up to the parallel port and the other to the serial port. I asked HP tech support when I got the printer and at that time they saw no reason why it wouldn't work. Have you ever tried that? Thank you for your help.
