It would, if you're one of the rather few people who can get it to work (unless the stuff in the dl has been cleaned up since I tried it). Saxon seemed to me to be everything I've always tried to avoid (note that I use wp programs, not dtp) in terms of being, to the degree that I could tell from a non-functional demo, extremely difficult to use.
