I was experiencing a "RECOVERABLE ALERT" error occasionally (it looked
like a GURU but didn't lock the system. The meditation # was 7FFFFFFE and
the address varied but 274xxxx was common. I haven't seen this one in a
while though. My system clock seems okay, it has run fast since the day I
bought the system (gains about 2 minutes a month) but that has not changed.
Might the "TICK" signal from the power supply be weak and causing the
problem? I noticed that it is a signal source for the parallel 8520 but
not the serial 8520. Where else is TICK used?
