You know, Unix is the operating system found in the most powerful desktop computers in the world. I don't know about you, but I would consider that fact in itself as appealing. One other thing about Unix, it is portable to multiple architectures and processors. Don't try that with AmigaDos. Maybe if we're lucky, we will see device independent graphics under AmigaDos sometime this century. Memory protection would be nice too. Hey, while we're at it, why don't we put serious networking in the Amiga operating system. My point is maybe Unix isn't perfect, but its got a couple of legs up on the Amiga's proprietary operating environment. Tim
