thanks; I knew all that, but I was hoping there was a way to do it from within VB. The control panel doesn't help because I want to be able to go from landscape to portrait and back from page to page. The escape codes work, but they are a true pain in the you know what and you lose access to ATM since it is a binary data stream. I've seen stuff about VB-Muscle and VBTools, but I don't know anything about them. I looked for VBTools, but it appears to be gone. Does anyone make a DLL or lib to assist in the grunt work of printing in a windows environment, to either HPLJ or Postscript printers.
