Steve, and others, just to let you know that there was an interesting article in one of the UK's magazines "Amiga Computing" called "Commodore takes Amiga RISC". And you can tell from the title that it talks about a possible RISC based Amiga. According to the article, the information comes from someone within CBM. Of course, each magazine tries to out scoop the other, and it's easy to get someone to say "Yes, we have looked into the possibility of a RISC based computer.", but actually releasing one is a different matter. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing an Amiga based on a RISC chipset. The only question is how compatable could they make it and still run the old software? John – K7KB (via Whap!)
