Steven, Chances are that the partition is now Read Only. (do an INFO command from a shell and check.) When this has happened to me in the past, I've used QuarterBack to back up the offending partition, and then reformatted and restored the drive from the backup. It's possible that something like QuarterBack Tools will be able to restore the drive to functionality without reformatting, BUT, it is strongly recommended that you back up the drive first, just in case.
