I am pleased to hear you like the new name! Some of the people I consulted did not like the name because it is not intuitively associated with 'animation'. I feel that doesn't really matter since the words "Computer Animation Services" will appear below "Choreo Motion" on most (if not all) of our literature. I like the new name and the many associations you've mentioned. In the short form of [C Motion], I also like the association to the word 'commotion': boistrous noise or activity; ruckus. Customers should like the fact that, when they make out the check, they don't have to get writer's cramp from spelling out the long name of M-i-n-d-s-c-a-p-e (is that one word or two? — Cap the 'S'? ) A-n-i-m-a-t-i-o-n (Do I have to print the _whole_ name?) P-r-o-d-u-c-t (breather to shake pain from hand) -i-o-n-s (sigh of releif). Of course, most of my customers print their checks on a computer anyway, but "Choreo Motion" is smoother to pronounce, unique and thus easier to remember, and does not seem so overstated. I have a high aim for 1995. A new year, a new name, a new company image, and, with luck and hard work, some new hardware/software — all promise to launch Choreo Motion on an exciting voyage. Don't look for much from Choreo Motion in the screening room at this year's Siggraph, since this year is "gear-up" year — but WATCH OUT in '96 'cause there's a new "warrior on the mesa"!! — James E.
