I'll get the file (Guess you know how much I look over there, now. :^)
HAM-E images can certainly be converted into a JPEG format of any
compression density – likely you'll go HAME->IFF24->JPEG for now, though.
As I understand it, the new ADPro will have JPEG in it, and it will also
load and save HAME and REG mode images. That will do it, right there.
Since ADPro is (apparently) about to encroach upon our approach to image
processing (WYSIWYG mouse regions and so on) we may (if this is true, it's
just a rumor so far) go ahead and put out JPEG system in too. Have to wait
till we know, though.
But there is no _technical_ problem. We've had JPEG on the Amiga for some
time, longer than anyone else in fact.
