Hi Craig, Chaos only works in the 640x480x16 graphics modes. A math co will probably give you 2x to 5x increase in speed in most situations, but won't appear to make a difference in the mandel if you have a 386 until you zoom in a few times. You'll know it when it happens because the program will beep when it switches from 32 bit integer calculations to floating point. -GB-
