MARK, I'm not saying that there are more UNIX installations out there. I am saying that the tide is turning. The recession has made businesses take a HARD look before buying a system and a UNIX system could be far less expensive than a Novell LAN. The people I have dealt with are using 386 and 486 machines with SCO or Interactive or have gone one step up with RS6000 IBM machines. Just compare the cost of adding dumb terminals versus 286/386/486 workstations with Ethernet cards. Netware isn't cheap either. The choice was plain for me when I went to buy a 10 user system and this was echoed by the vendors I contacted. Networks may be hip but they are not the only answer. Certainly they are right for plenty of situations but not for mine. ….Mark 74335,1677
