#Open Letter to CBM
There are Amiga users who decide they need pc capability, and the bb so far
seems to be the best solution. I'm one of those. I bought it 2 years
after I bought my Ami.
There are others who badly want Amiga's, but who NEED pc capability. Now,
if this let's them do it, then great. There's nothing wrong with using
bb's to sell still more 3000's. In fact, any legit way CBM can noticably
increase sales of any Amiga's can be well worth it.
One would hope that the 3rd party products could fill the gap, but I
suspect that there would be patent problems with the bridge concept.
Commodore has another choice it could make; it could license out the BB
technology to a 3rd party, provided that current users would still get
support (above and beyond the support that we DON'T really get now).
