Yes. I don't want to sleeze my clients by disclaiming responsiblity if I do something wrong, but I don't want to be left holding the bag for something I didn't have any hand in causing. Like all ethical issues, finding the lines is difficult. I spend an inordinate amount of time with my clients making a tight spec and making sure we have a meeting of the minds. If they get restless at this, and some do, I explain what can go wrong if we don't take the time and they all come around. If one didn't, I wouldn't work for them unless I did so hourly. And since I dont' work that way, I don't know how much I'd charge <grin>. Ah, life…. Paul There is 1 Reply.
