I remember working for hours on end waiting for my PC to reboot (and reboot and reboot) while developing my first TSR. Damn near wore out the little red switch. If you don't remember, the old machines took *forever* to do a cold boot and didn't show anything on the screen in the process. I had to go to Dallas to get my first PC and was the proud owner of one of the highest of tech *double sided* floppy machines around. UAE is just another flavor of the same old critter.
