Dwight, It depends which CD-ROM drive you have. Version 2.2 of the MSCDEX/Sony drivers fixes that problem on the external BSR CD-ROM drive (Sony 6201). However, some earlier BSR units used the Sony 510 drive which doesn't support the oddball track suppression used in Mammals. Instead of making a true stereo sound track, they record some animals on the right track and others on the left. That means one channel must always be suppressed during, and not all drives have this capability. Mammals is the only product I know of that has this feature/problem.
