Chris,
LHARC does not respond to the RUN command. You need a file for it to work
on. Suppose that you have both LHARC.EXE (renamed to LHARC) in RAM: and
you have a file there named NEWFILE.LZH. Here is how you would use it:
MAKEDIR RAM:NEWFILE
CD RAM:NEWFILE
RAM:LHARC -m -x x RAM:NEWFILE.LZH
At this time, the archived file will be unpacked into the directory
Ram:Newfile.
You might find ARCHLP.EXE, Library 16 of AmigaUser to be helpful. It is a
tutorial on the use of several popular archiving programs.
