Well, the name of the store is Computers and More, but it ought to be "Less and Less", because they have a real software and hardware inventory problem. They have a lot of everything nobody wants. The result is that all of their capital is sunk in this rapidly depreciating inventory and they're in a real cash bind. They really do have software for the VIC-20 on the shelves, but no ProPage, ProDraw, PageStream, Deluxe Paint, DigiPaint, Superbase, Amax, etc. They have several copies of Textcraft Plus, but no Word Perfect, ProWrite, Excellence, etc. When I ask if they have a particular piece of hardware or software, the answer is "No, but we can order it for you." If they're going to order it and then charge me retail for something they don't stock and probably have never seen, I might as well order it mail-order myself. It's the ultimate in absurdity — a retail store with no useful inventory and no product support. Pardon me for getting on my soapbox in what was a lighthearted and humorous thread. It is a great place to go for someone with an emotional attachment to one of the older machines. Mike
