Jan: Most boards are compatible with most CDROMs. I think the underlying question here is whether the SCSI controller built onto the SoundBlaster Pro is compatible with the CDROM drive you have or intend to purchase. You probably have to contact Creative Labs and ask them about specific drives that have proven to be compatible. From what I've read, some drive manufacturers use standard SCSI interfaces, some use modified ones, and some have proprietary controllers. There is 1 Reply.
