Jonathan, I guess it's something I'll have to get used to (all these DLLs), and yes, since I have the source code to all but one of my DLLs/VBXs, then it's not too much of a problem, I guess. I can just see things getting really complicated when I come out with an updated version of my product, but I'll just have to make sure the installation procedure is very thorough in finding any old DLLs lying around. As for Windows apps written in Basic/SDK, that wasn't my suggestion. I was merely saying that the VB product would be the "entry-level" product -like QB — in that it has the interactive p-code environment and there wouldn't be a native-code compiler (just a p-code compiler) and that's all, whereas the VB-Prof'l would have a more advanced interactive environment and would have a native-code compiler, along with the ability to create DLLs and CCs. – Ted There is 1 Reply.
