Mark,
I figured that one out…Thanks! Next question…
Why is it that if I define a buttonclick to run 4 or 5 shell statements one
after the other it sort of hoses on the 3rd window?
In other words, lets say that I set up a button to map 5 drives using the
netware MAP utility. (Until I can convince my boss to buy the Novell
windows sdk). It opens a dos window for each shell statement but then
hoses and leaves 2 or 3 windows open. I have to click on the menu bars of
each to get 'em to finish executing the command.
I am running windows in 386 mode with 8MB ram and 37MB disk space free. I
have 67% of my resources free after loading all my usual programs minimized
in Win 3.0. By the way, I am using the 1 switch in the shell statement to
invoke each window with focus. Is that my problem? I'd like to have a way
to avoid the windows altogether by trapping output to nul or something but
don't think that is realistic.
Comments?
Cheers,
jpm
