John, I've been following this thread with some interest. I'd like to find out how you would modify the 'showpage' to duplicate a page at another location. Short of re-sending the page information, bracketed by 'translate', I couldn't think of a solution. If you do re-send the page information via FilePrint ala 2×4, I think you can achieve your goal with a combination of imbedded PostScript codes and modifications to the existing 2×4 macro (to place the PS codes and to generated the print sequence). If you'd like, I can give you the PS codes for doing side-ways/2-up printing. -vince PS This is the first time I heard of a desire for this type of printing. Read action !re 107333
