DJM- I don't know if this will help, since the experiece I have with such videos is a little more casual – a "project update" for our customers. They wanted to see what the program looked like at a particular point in time, and requested a video tape. We purchased a "genlock" board for this function. What it does is capture the actions seen on your monitor and output that to the VCR. I turned it on, set the tape rolling, and proceeded to "walk through" the software on my computer. After that was done, I used some basic audio equipment to add a voice-over explaining each screen or action. I'm not sure this is "professional" enough for what you're looking for, but it got the results quickly. In case you decide to look into this route: We used a RocGen board, and were not so pleased with it (see other message thread regarding this), but I guess other people have been quite pleased with it. John Sobernheim also said that he has heard good things about GVP Personal Suite Plus. Good luck!
