After seeing 2.0 last night, the price of the upgrade isn't that bad! Quite a bit has changed almost all the way around (I love the new effects) and the changes to LightWave and the Modeler look great as well. Too bad NewTek won't sell LightWave as a standalone package. At $2595, it's out of my reach. Also, I could care less what the competitors price their products at. I've had a Toaster on my mind for quite some time. Sure. New things have come out and are more expensive (or now was more expensive) but I would still rather have a Toaster. Looks like I'll have to wait to win the lotto! 🙂 I had no intentions of sounding like I was flaming you or NewTek. Many people are upset now with the price change and I've heard that some Southern California Amiga dealers are now having troubles selling Toasters due to the price change news. One store even bought out other's inventories at a low price to mark up and sell later. Yech! But enough of this. Like you said, you're here for technical support! If only I had some technical questions! 🙂
