CDTV CAN play CD sound WITH 8 bit audio I've already done this. I may be
wrong on CD-I but from what i've read and saw (and was told by Philips rep
last year) it couldn't play streo sound from memory and CD simultaniously
(the Philip guy told me it was all CD based (but he could have been
wrong)).
