CDTV, CD-I etc.

I don't think that CD-I only has CD audio but you may be right. I'm
really not that interested in CD-I except as competition for CDTV. You can
only get 70 minutes of full fidelity CD sound on a disk so that would
greatly hamper its usefulness vs. CDTV. Just ask Jerry from Xiphias about
his preference for CDTV over IBM CD-Roms because of the sound limitation on
IBM computers. You have to trade off visual effects vs. sound effects in
the competition for disk space.
